The Last Day for DIM is Oct 28, 2012
Sad news: The end of DIM is in sight. Last day for DIM will be Sunday Oct 28, 2012.
While listener support has picked up, I simply can no longer afford to lose up to $250/month on the station. There are now dozens of music alternatives that were not around 12 1/2 years ago when DIM started.
Changes in my life have also led to less time to invest in operating the station and I am afraid that soon I will not be able to maintain the quality. I’d rather go out on a high note.
This has been a tough – and long considered – decision. I will be posting a note on the website in the next 48 hours to this effect.
A huge thank-you to all the supporters over the years. Without your help, DIM would have never made it as long as it has/did. For subscribers (supports you auto-contribute via PayPal every month), if you do not issue a cancellation by Sept 30, 2012, I will cancel your subscriptions on the “Deeper Into Music” end.
