Add Your Voice To Deeper Into Music!
You hear my (Keith’s) voice all the time on Deeper Into Music. Now, it’s your turn. If you have a microphone or a telephone (cell phone), I’ll gladly add your greeting to DIM and others can hear you, too.
Here’s a suggested script of what to say:
(you may vary it slightly to fit the way you speak):
“Hello. I’m ____________ [insert your name] from __________ [insert your hometown/country]. You’re listening to Deeper Into Music.”
or
“Hi; I’m ___________ and I listen to Deeper Into Music at home/work from ____________ [location].”
or something similar.
There are two options to get your voice to me – by phone or by computer file:
1. EASY: Voice mail: 919.324.3918 – US charges apply (no microphone needed). Just call the number and read your script after the prompt. So easy a cave-person can do it.
or
2. HARDER: by computer file (as follows – microphone and ability to make an audio required)
Requirements & Instructions for your voice file (not necessary if you use the phone option):
1. A clear, properly recorded audio file of your voice in mp3 format
2. Minimal mp3 requirement: please make sure that your mp3 is at least 128kbs/44kHz (I can accept other audio forms, but that’s my preference, please)
Record the script at least twice in your natural voice. Once you’re satisfied, create it as a mp3 (I can accept .wav, .ogg, .aiff, etc, but I prefer mp3) and send it as an email attachment to dim@deeperintomusic.net, or ftp the file to ftp://69.64.47.59

Note: if for some reason you are unable to send your email, please contact me at the above email address and we’re figure out another way for you to get your voice on Deeper. (You might want to try the voice mail option above!)
Special Considerations
Submissions to DIM may be rejected for any reason, however, I will provide feedback to you and let you know why I did not use your submission. Also, the audio file may be edited. Your submission indicates that you understand that your voice may appear on Deeper Into Music. Your submission becomes the property of Deeper Into Music. (You may request a removal of your voice at any time in the future and I will do my best to comply.)
